artem s. tashkinov for your information if you are looking at ff a knock off then you may be interested to know that waterfox is more of a ff clone than pale moon is, i'm using pm because the seamonkey i knew & loved has become very disappointing you no longer have the choice not to install chatzilla.

i have used irfanview for many years now. it has always been a very good program. i do not understand "rhino's" assertion "however the tactic of installing a toolbar with no warning in order to earn money from google is outrageous." the third page in the installation sequence is devoted solely to the google toolbar. if you do not want it installed you simply uncheck the box that is clearly labeled to indicate your disire to install or not install the toolbar. if you do install it and decide later you do not want it you can easily either disable it in the "view" tab, or you can uninstall it completely with little effort.irfanview has a small footprint, uses little resources and has many more functions than programs costing to 0 dollars. oh and it is free! i cannot think of any thing bad about this program.

ie 8 opinionquoting lakotaelf:"many of these reviews here are of no value at all for all they do is slam and give no details, wow, even a dope can do that."read your own review lakotelf and you will perhaps see that all it does is praise and gives no details, wow, even a dope can do that!! at the end of the day a browser needs to be user friendly not geek friendly and firefox and google chrome both do that (alhough googles customer support is not the greatest). in my experience ie 8 is a crock of "something less than good" and i actually prefer ie7. no details..rather like your review. but then i don't claim or infer that i'm an expert, just a user. personally i have uninstalled ie8 and will rely on firefox, chrome and ie7 (mostly chrome). to go a little further than you did in your less than informative post, i would simply say that the customer support experience after installing ie 8 left one hell of a lot to be desired, and customer service was something i required rather a lot of given the endless problems experienced with ie8. yes it may have been my configuration, but i sure as hell didn't receive any good information that would have led to me making an informed decision on that!

microsoft money was the one discontinued but not microsoft streets and trips. microsoft streets and trips is not designed to use for garmin, and it is pointless to make it work with garmin as garmin is already loaded with maps, and basically has a lot of duplicate functionality.gps that comes with ms can only tell the location, while the software provides advanced mapping, trip planning, and map browsing in a way that garmin cannot do too well.i use streets and trips to help me look at my routes, optimize trips with multiple locations, and find other interesting information such as restaurants and poi. though my garmin can do this as well, pois only work on the spot, and it is slow. streets and trips make it easy for me to zoom in and out of the map, pan and search for information in blazing speed. i don't need internet connection to do this, so it works perfectly anywhere with or without wifi connection.garmin does not come with any road construction update, but streets and trips do, so it helps me avoid construction zone. streets and trips isn't designed to replace the simplicity of general gps such as garmin or tomtom. for navigation, it is still easier to hang a 7" screen on the windshield than mounting a laptop. streets and trips rival other mapping software products (note that i am not comparing with online mapping such as google maps or mapquest) with simple interface and convenient navigation.occasionally i find some maps are out of date in some areas, if not, it would have earned a 5-star!
